The Board of Barbers and Hairdressers is staffed by the Division of Occupational Licensing. The board consists of two barbers; two hairdressers, one of whom is also licensed as an esthetician, one person licensed to practice body piercing or licensed to practice tattooing and permanent cosmetic coloring; and one public member. Board members are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the legislature.
